玉花壽之王博士紐約春拍會上奪冠

二零一九年三月十八日，美國紐約貞觀國際春拍會上，被紐約藝術學院評定為國際級第一級藝術家的玉花壽之王博士的一幅四尺三開的小品畫“竹籃石榴”，以一百二十七萬美金的高價拍出，成為拍賣會名列榜首之冠軍，驚爆拍市!

Dr. Yuhua Shouzhi Wang is the Top Champion of the New York Spring Auctions

Dr. Yuhua Shouzhi Wang was praised as a First-class International Artist by the New York Academy of Art. On March 18, Her Pomegranates in Bamboo Basket, 27”x18”, commanded $1,270,000 at Gianguan Auctions. The sale set the leading price of all the biddings in the auction.

The ink-wash paintings of Dr. Yuhua Shouzhi Wang are characterized by a transcendental artistic conception. The fidelity is not only in form but also in spirit. Her deep and strong technical capabilities and her profound literary qualities cannot be reached by anyone. Fundamentally, she has a robust foundation in the art of painting. Based on quintessential traditional Chinese paintings, she combined the detailed fine-brushwork Surrealism and transformed into the purest, highest style that transcends the mundane and leaped to the class of ease, the top of the four classes of art. On July 30, 2008, the United States Congress recognized Dr. Yuhua Wang as a “great artist and sculptor” and “world’s treasure” in the Congressional Record. In 2013, President George Christophides of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers, and Associations (WFUCA) named one of her paintings “2013WFUCA”. In 2019, the Ministry of Culture of Thailand held an exhibit to showcase her artworks. The exhibit was a sensation in Thailand where the Ministry of Culture of Thailand specially issued a letter, asking colleges and high schools to study and view it in thanking Dr. Yuhua Shouzhi Wang for the high-class art she brought to Thailand.
